The house and apartments are conveniently located for beaches, shops and restaurants catering for all tastes and ages. The nearest beach is a short 5 minute walk, as is Cala d'Or marina. Shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars in the centre of Cala Egos, are 3 minute walk. Other activities like Bowling, Mini-golf, Children's electric bikes, Go-karts & Trampolines, amongst other things can be reached in minutes by foot.
Due to local amenities and well organised local public transport, car rental is not essential, a few minute stroll reaches many areas and facilities, a ‘land train’ regularly circulates the locality, also local buses visit one of the largest beaches Cala Mondrago in the nearby national park.
Cala d'Or is only 1.5km, a few minute drive or 20 minute walk around Cala
d'Or Marina. Palma is approximately a 45 minute drive, and the exceptionally stunning
mountainous Western coastline a little further. Many other attractions like mountain-top
monasteries, local village markets, huge beaches, etc. are all accessible by
short drive by car or taxi. An excellent day out takes you from Palma to Sóller. This takes you on a narrow gauge train which winds through stunning mountain valleys, up into the hills and a tunnel before exposing you to the picturesque town of Sóller nestled in its valley.
From Sóller, a short tram ride winds through its quaint streets, down to the lovely Port de Sóller, the tram runs along the waterside to the centre of the town. The town offers a wide selection of shops & restaurants.
